Step Up Cincinnati is hosted by UGIVE. Join UGIVE and 1,500 of your peers to volunteer from 9:00 AM to Noon at non-profits all over the Greater Cincinnati area. After a day of rewarding and life changing volunteering we will return to Covington Landing for the after party! When you arrive on the morning of the event you will be able to choose the non-profit you would like to volunteer with. The after party will consist of free food, entertainment, music, games, and fun. Each volunteer will receive a raffle ticket upon arrival, and additional raffle tickets can be gained by bringing a pair of gently used shoes to donate. To participate in this event you need to become a member of UGIVE at http://www.ugive.org if you aren't already. Once you're a member you need to sign up for the Step Up Cincinnati event. Registration needs to be completed by September 4th, 2010.

The National Arts Program is and exhibit of artworks created by City of Indianapolis emoployees retirees and their families as they compete for cash prizes. The exhibit is sponsored by The National Arts Program Foundation in cooperation with the Garfield Park Arts Center and the Friends of Garfield Park. Entries are judged in Amateur, Intermediate, Professional, and Youth classifications. Opening Reception is August 14th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Exhibit is available during regular GPAC hours.

This fashion show spotlights breast cancer survivors and members of their medical teams as models wearing fashions provided by Nordstrom. The purpose of the event is to celebrate the positive spirit of survivors while showcasing the benefit of services provided by Pink Ribbon Connection.
